Y571A Rotary Crockmeter is used to determine the color fastness of textiles to rubbing off and staining other materials where the singling out of areas is smaller than possible to test with the apparatus described in AATCC TM8 and ISO 105-X12. It applies 1134g of pressure onto a single test finger mounted on a vertical rod that rotates 1.125turns (405°) clockwise and then anti-clockwise. The manual handle is always turned in one direction only.
